Our forefathers date back from the times of the Moor invasion in Spain; but it is in our country, as off the year 1925, that our present was forged. Following his father’s foot steps, Don Vicente Pérez Ganga arrived in Argentina and settled in San Juan; with time and much effort, with competence and perseverance, he became one of the top agriculturalists in the region. He had wide knowledge of grape farming and through the years he came to own vast extensions of vineyards. All of his work prepared the foundations upon which this company grew and continues to do so presently.

...The Province of “Alicante”, in Spain, is one of the most beautiful and fertile places on the Iberian Peninsula. It is divided in 15 judicial districts and 140 city halls. In the “Villena” district is the SAX town (Moor for stone) which had previously been called SEGISA and which saw the birth of our forefathers. Since remote times, “Villena”’s population has been dedicated to growing grapes and making wine.
So for our company to have the honor to continue with such a legacy is nothing but a humble homage to those hard working men and women who came to this country and brought with them the secrets and knowledge of the art of wine making.
